Behavior Specialist-Full-Time

We are an ABA company that has been working in the Bay Area for 13 years. GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Meet with staff supervising your cases on a regular basis
  • Work directly with clients in a playful manner
  • Collect data on objectives for learners
  •  

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong verbal, listening, written communication skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity and flexibility with the consumers and how the conditions for developing skills are arranged and rearranged
  • Experience working with children with autism or children who are developmentally delayed either through volunteer work, classroom experience or paid position.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn Applied Behavior Analysis methodology.
  • Ability to work within a team

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree or two years experience in applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, Psychology, Education, Communicative Disorders, or related field.
Ability to travel up to 1/2 hour to different client/student locations.
Bilingual
